Finals ...This should be final post for tonight

There was confusion over the original absentee/one-stop votes, and the numbers we were given were low. After the madness of the other precinct returns, we sat down with the BOE and got new numbers for One stop, with absentee broken out. The final chart shows the final unofficial totals. The difference in the total numbers and the sum of all precincts is due to absentee votes not being counted with one-stop as we usually do.

Finals

There were definitely some hiccups in the numbers, particularly in the absentee/one stop. This chart shows totals of all precincts. "WITH ALL" is the complete total, factoring in ALL votes. Will explain more in subsequent post.

One Stop

Still waiting for first returns at 7:50 p.m.

The Board of Elections is still working on the absentee/one stop (early voting) numbers, so it's going to be a bit later than usual. We've usually already posted those numbers by now. This election's early voting totals 22 percent of registered voters.

Mid-term Election Results

The polls close at 7:30, and we hope to have a tabulation of the first 7,442 votes—those from early voting—sometime before 8 p.m. That's 22 percent of registered voters in Hoke County. We'll post totals here from each precinct as numbers are relayed from the Board of Election. If you leave this page open, it will automatically refresh every minute.
